Well like the title says, where are you buying your insurance from here in SK. I'm looking to buy a new 04 F7 so looking for info on insurance.

I went with my local Co-operators with my 2004 F7 EXT. It comes out of my account automatically, so I'm not sure of the amount, but I think it's around $450/year. NOT cheap!!

I am also with the Co-operators, but in Nova Scotia. My 2005 700 SC EXT was $180 for Fire, Theft and PLPD. Your $450 must also cover collision.

The local SGI outlet...the price is close to what the sasksled was before.....They are all to high....

Yes, mine covers collision also...$500 deductable on collision, $100 on everything else (I think)....never used it, but it's nice to have for peace of mind.

I bought from SGI last year too. The rates depend on the value of your sled and detucable you choose. For full replacement coverage on a new sled it will be pricey no matter where you go. If more people bought insurance the cost would go down.

I paid 160 for 6 months at Battleford Agencies. Was the best that I found in town

Was that for both your registartion and insurance, or just your plates. The insurance is for 12 months and covers the sleds for perils, but not collision when the plates (registartion) is not in effect. With the SGI program last year you only got thrid party liability coverage with your plates (registration) and your collision and perils was a separate policy. I only had my plates for 4 months last year and bought perils, personal injury and additional third party liabilty, but no collision coverage and it was close to what you paid. If you only bought plates then you had no real insurance coverage, or coverage for the things you would want.

Sounds like we both got the same thing. Plates were seprate that was just for perils and liability no colision

I just got my renewal...apparently I pay $443/year. $1 million liability, $500 deducatable, and includes collision.
