My group rides those areas as well.
When the snow flies we will talk.
What part of Winnipeg?
duppypog
North Kildonan.
I would Appreciate it. I ride with a few guys now, but you know how it is, some one moves, or gets divorced, or some other reason, and very soon the large group gets small.

Thanx for the reply

Hey, any of you guys belong to your local club? I'm currently president of the Brokenhead Trail Blazers. We are in the process of creating our ride schedule for this year. We are always looking for new members to take part in any of our rides or functions. If anyone has any questions about our club or our trails, send me a reply and/or I'll PM my phone number to you.
Thanks

As for guys your age SRT4 fear not. Like track said some of us are pretty cool and you may just learn a thing or two from some of us more "experianced" riders.

Wow, I mention "local snowmobile club" and it seems to have scared everyone off this topic. What's up? What is everyone's opinion of the local clubs? Constructive criticism is welcome!

I actually went to a meeting for the Brokenhead trail blazers years ago as my friend was in it.

I wasn't dedicated enough to join.

Otherwise I think the clubs are great and I love everything they do.

I put my snopass to either broken head or springfield.

I for one really have nothing against the clubs. You guys and gals certainly do us a great service and at times I have taken the time to stop and thank a groomer operator and I've even slipped them a few bucks for coffee. But like a lot of the guys I ride with once we are done with work and family we have little time left to ride so we try and make the most of it. As my family grows older, my boys basically, and I focus more on snowmobiling with them than a day out with the boys I may sign on as a family with them and give a little back. Thats if the high cost of fuel, insurance, parts, and the initial sled price doesn't drive me from the sport first.

Sanford, MB. Previously Fort Garry(right behind the Pemby) Like to ride Lee River, Falcon lake/Westhawk. Wife is knocked up again so this winter might restrict me to more local venues, Assinaboin River, Lasalle river to the south Red up to St Agathe for lunch and a pop and back is a pretty good 100 miler . I am off almost every Wednesday and usually end up riding alone. I certainly wouldn't mind some company.

hows the ditch to libau from the 59er.,rideable or to icy.
are the trails marked from tyndall going to grand ?
SRT4_Mike
i havnt done to much riding down 59 yet. Where ive been they arnt 2 bad because thats were most of the snow has blown off to. So im not to sure bout liabau or Grand yet but i heard they have been groomed the trails out there so i bet there marked. The floodway is really shitty. Its mostly icy conditions. I mostly just bolt along the sides of feilds and the ditches right now or head down the train tracks were theres a ton of snow. I unno if this helps but its what i know as of now.... flag_canada.gif
