Been running Amsoil Interceptor oil for the last 2 seasons. Used cat oil before that since 1990. Would never use cat oil again, plus Amsoils cheaper. I get for 20.00 dollars a gallon. I just ran my oil tank low before adding the Amsoil but I heard you can mix the 2 together with out any problems.

Redline Oil. 3-5% increase HP on dyno tests. High temperature stability preventing any deposits.

U can change oil any time u want to, my cousin ran whatever was cheaper or what was gave to him in his ves 500, no problems at least he had 3 or 4 different oils in his tank at once. Amsoil seems to burn good.

Been running Amsoil Interceptor oil for the last 2 seasons.
I thought Interceptor just came out last year??? Guess not...
I run the regular Amsoil Injector oil and never had a valve problem in 3600 miles last year. Put 5700 miles on my '02 800 and no issues either. Valves pull right out at the start of the next season to be cleaned.

Ditto, put on around 800 + / - a few miles last season, valves looked almost like new...
Using regular AMSOil
Stuff is cheap... like 18 bucks a gallon I think

I just paid $20 a gallon at the milwaukee show. Then yesterday, I got a dealer kit in the mail to become a dealer. I have no interest in becoming a dealer, but I wish one of my friends would. With the comission, it would work out to about 15 a gallon. That is almost the price of gas.

I purchased regular Amsoil Synthetic last year at Fleet Farm to use in my Puma 340. This year I upgraded to an F7. Will this oil work OK with APV. The back of the package says it works with power valves but all the discussion has me a little worried. I would like to keep using this oil because I have a couple of gallons left, plus it's about $12 a gallon when on sale.
Any advice would be appreciated.

If it's the regular Amsoil Injector Synthetic 2-Cycle, I would. As I said above, I've had zero issues with it. The new name is now HP Injector Synthetic 2-Cycle.
I plan on pulling my valves the next week or two on my '04 F7. I've never had them out and never any performance issues.

i have used amsoil in boats sleds lawnmowers an never had a problem, this oil smokes very little and keeps things cool, the price is right and the qaulity is there.however if you do decide to swith ,try to run your oil down as far as you dare and pour very slow to avoid air bubbles.it costs about $10 to be a dealer and the discounts are good if you have alot of friends using it

You would be better off going to the interceptor.

I run cat 50:1 oil in everything 2 stoke I own, including the weed wacker. Never a problem. If you're in mid-Michigan Nelsons sno show has the best prices in the state on all OEM oils. The cat oil by the case works out to 16 bucks a gal.
their show is end of summer every year.

I was a big Amsoil fan for years. Then...
I noticed signs of severe piston and ring wear...and had several piston and ring failures.
I noticed that my crank bearings were not being sufficiently lubricated, and were wearing to the point of needing replacement.
I checked my engine builder's motors and noticed a nice, gooey OILY coating on all his parts...using Citgo or old Yamalube.
Bottom line...he had no failures, I did.
No more Amsoil since and my problems have gone away. My ZR900 engine looked like new using petroleum based Injex...no longer a big fan of synthetics for high horsepower/torque engines.
Just my $.02 and experience...
