veryangry.gif Was looking at rebuilding rear shocks on my wife's sled when I discovered that the suspension rails had a severe case of hole elongation. Does anyone know where I could get a good used set? I need to get her sled fixed because if momma isn't happy nobody's happy. Thanks :div20:

Just fyi in theMarch 2004 sno-tech there is a company that makes rail repair kits page 106 Company name is Performance stainless inc. at tel. no. 920-739-9899. I have never used them but it might be worth a call. Jay

There's a few options, buy new, try and find used try Al's Snowmobile Parts Warehouse www.alssnowmo.com. There are repair kits some where out there that bolt to the rail or if you know any welders fill the holes and re-drill. Thats what we all do is weld em up.

I picked up a set of new take-offs from an 04' 900 for $50.00 on the swap meet at snowest, I haven't been on here long enough to check out this swap tho.

listen guys dont waste your hard earned $$ on new rails get the old ones welded. i see tons of cats come in with this problem and the replacemnt rails are just as crap as the original. get somebody who knows how to weld alum to put a nice chunk of alum on the old rails. if hes any good you wont even notice the repare. my tcat has been welded up i got the rails anodized green while they were out looks good.
