Just got back from the Kingdom. According to the store owner in Granby, no one has stepped up to buy or reopen the North Concord store formerly known as Copp's. Will be back up there in a few weeks and will check for any updates.

I was back up in the Kingdom yesterday to check out the deer sign.
Stopped in at the Mooselook Restaurant for lunch. The waitress
said that a couple from St. Johnsbury had bought Copp's Store and
was planning to reopen as soon as they sold their present house.
Looks like a good possibility of the store being open this winter.

North Concord Country Store update.
Just received the Moose River Rock Dodgers newsletter. The following was included.
"I have been told that the store formally called the North Concord Country Store will be opening after the first of the year. We hope this really happens. This was a great spot for getting gas or whatever you needed for snowmobiling."
Keep your fingers crossed.

I bought my TMA's today from a local guy that has a place on Maidstone and is in the CT Valley Snow Riders snowmobile club. I was told that the fuel tanks have been removed from The North Concord Country Store so I think it is unlikley that we will be getting gas there this season. I hope I'm wrong. DT

Thanks for the info daytripper. Hope the report is wrong, also. Guess we'll find out this winter.

Just went by the store yesterday. Looks like the pumps are still there. Also looked like there was some activity in the store. No opening soon signs up but looked like they were working inside. People at the Concord store did not know if it was opening or not.
