I've ridden out of Ironwood on a few occasions, always towards the east. There is only one trail going into town from the east. It can be rough going at times until you get out past Wakefield. If you have any question that I can help with just let me know.

Hey, I just realized you are from Ironwood. I guess I'll have to ask you the questions.

Haha nice to see a few people that actually no where this is. I no we get a lot of people on weekends but no one has ever really mentioned this town, or hurley cuz they are so close. And thats alright kh550, and yes it is rough untill after wakefield, i can leave my garage and ride about 5 small blocks and im on that trail. i live behind comfort inn and davies motel. most of the time we trailer to a buddys house in wakefield because it can get soo bad and soo rocky that theres no point. ive riden home once on ice and gravel and i dont think ill do that again :frech32:

I usally try to be there for opening day. Can't wait to break new sleds every year.2 years ago we got into town on the 30th about noon. Nothing to do till midnight but hit Silver street. By midnight we weren't feeling any pain. Put on about 35 miles. Got up the next morning and realized we spent about $600 at the dance. It use to take all day to go to silver city in the porkies from there but seem to be a half day trip anymore. I use to love the red light rally but that is nothing like it use to be since the races left. Well hope to see you in about 7 weeks or so. Good luck riding this year and keep the rubber side down.

yeah man...silver street rocks!
If its still there check out Muddy's in Guile. The owner is a big long hair hippy lookin gut, but he is cool as hell. We like to go there at least once and chat with the guy.
