We are all doing well, my grandson is hollering for a little ZR120, everytime we ride past the dealer, he say's, hey Pop lets go in and look at MY snowmachine, he'll have to wait one more year tho according to his Mom
From where DT took that picture to back up past my house, there is no trail as yet, some Doctor came in and bought a big hunk of land, built a big house and closed it off from public use. We have been working to get a new trail thru and will still need to build a new bridge, AFTER we find a way to get thru the village, we can always ride a 1/4 mile of road, but we don't want to do that since it will rattle the heck out of the 3 or 4 house that sit tight to the road, and no one likes scratching down the side of a dirt road. Land ownership transfers and 2 new houses have severly cramped my style...
We called one guy to ask about crossing one little tiny corner (maybe 150 ft) of his 300+ acre farm and we didn't even get warmed up before he said NO WAY, he couldn't ride his quad on the vast trail's, so he wasn't opening his land up to anyone...I'm sure we'll get it thru somewhere, I just hate to beg...but hate those several mile re-routes worse.
I just pulled the skid frame from under the kitty to replace both shocks and clean and grease stuff up, been puting it off all summer, so now that we had a few frost's I'm getting nervous.
I'll be in touch as the season gets closer, did I hear Mike picked up some new iron?
Jim
PS, seeing that picture reminds me why I never look in the mirror, damn I'm getting old....
Ben
thats insane that your woods still look like that. there isnt a single green leaf left on the trees up here in northern maine. i know we're further north but i didnt think a couple hundred miles would make that much of a difference.

Ben,

Those pics were taken in August. i just received them for posting.

Jim,

Mike is NOT getting new iron yet. He did alot of work on the old girl and is in the middle of putting a new track on it.

Good luck with the work through Craftsbury. We love going over that way. Good transition from the highways of IP/Canaan area.

Hey guys,

Great to see more of the "oldtimers"chimeing back in. Its definately been a long summer, but we are on the downhill side of the countdown now.
Hope to see you guys, Jim, Dave, Mike, etc. at the HCS ride in Jan, if not before. I'm ready now, all sleds polished, lubed, tuned, new truck, trailer. yay2.gif yay2.gif yay2.gif

Hey Jay!!
You all healed up I suppose and ready to go..
Has Zack? got a 120 in the shed yet...?
We'll all definitely have to meet up this winter, I sorta have the bug again after an off couple of years. Doing my share of signing and trail work, just haven't been riding much.
I'm etired now so hopefully I can get my wrinkled up a$$ in the saddle more this year..that is if my wife will help me throw my leg over the seat....

Here's another view of that trail, some time in February I think. It was a perfect day, and about -15 F. Can't wait to get out there again. I'll be up for Moose season this weekend, but it's just not the same.

Yeah, I'm healed as much as I'm going to. I actually rode last year, but probably wasn't quite 100%.

Zack is great! Thanks for asking, going to wait one more year to get a 120.

Will definately plan on getting together this winter.

No need to apologize KR, I knew what you meant, I just forgot to stick a smiley face in there :-)
I'm glad I am getting old, it's better than the alternative..:-) since It's really nice being on top of the snow huh?
I was suprised to see a few other guy's from the old IP site here too.
Give me another 6 or 7 weeks and then think snow OK..I have a little golf, and a lot of building to do on my son's house,,,, before I can allow snowfall..

Hi Guys: I've been layed up for a week with back problems?? Today my back got better as fast as it went bad? I don't remember straining it, just one of those things I guess. I like the winter photos better than the summer ones for sure. It was kinda cool cruising the trails in my VW Rabbit Convertible though. They were smooth but slippery, with loose gravel on top, had to stay on top of things or the ends wanted to swap! After the NEK mini tour my son and I went up Mt Washington top down. HCS seem like the place to be now. I don't know what happened to IP.com. Kinda quiet over at the BSC too. Maybe I'll bump into somebody tomorrow at the Big E. My son (Jim 12) and I are taking the snowmobile safety course so we'll be there all day. I've got to keep emotions at bay or I'll be bringing home a new Vector! Thinking Winter: DT
