Just picked up a 2001 summit 700 151in and was wondering what number the bolt on the clutch should be at for around here,MN? Don't know to much about ski doo's. Bought it for out west but will ride it some here. Any info on this sled would be nice. Thanks

primary clutch? usually around 3 or 4.The higher #,the higher rpm.You prolly want it to rev up to about 8000.Try it on three.Go out and watch your tach. Then adjust accordingly.Just double check that all three bolts are on the same setting.

Pull the bolt out of the primary, mark the clutch and pull the front half off its very simple, spread apart and look at the pins in the arms are they solid?? or are they hollow??? you'll want to know this if your going to take it out west, my 700 runs solid 16.4 grams here in mn on clicker#3 and hollow threaded 13.5grams on clicker 3-4 out west. The lower on the old tra's the more efficent they are at shifting out. Just my .02 hope it helps
