So a few years back my family bought a small resort on Lake Minocqua (locals...it used to be called sunny bay resort) which we were trying to develop. Since the economy sucks right now, we decided to rent out the cabins. I am in the process of getting everything back into shape but here are some details.

Three cabins in total for rent:

1. 2br 1200 sq ft house. Fully furnished with 1 full bath, basement and deck. $1300/ wk or $700 Fri-Sun
2. 2br 500 sq ft cabin. Fully furnished with no indoor baths. There is an outdoor bathroom (outhouse) shared between the two small cabins $500/wk or $300 Fri-Sun
3. Another 2br 500 sq ft cabin. Furnished but again, no indoor bath. $500/wk or $300 Fri-Sun

If you are interested in renting the whole thing, I would rent for $2000/wk or $1100 Fri-Sun

I will be putting in a new dock this weekend hopefully so it will be ready for your boat. THe entire property has about 350 feet of frontage on Lake Minocqua so there is plenty of room for everyone.

I will negotiate on the prices for any non holiday week or weekend other than Memorial day, labor day and 4th of July.

Let me know what you think. I dont know if I am off base with the pricing. I just called a few comparable rentals on the lake and they all asked for more than I am so I think these should be a good deal but I am sure that you guys will let me know.

PM me if you have any questions. I will get some pictures of the property up soon.

Well thats cool, I am glad that place is getting rehabbed. Do you belong to the chamber of commerce? they seem to do well for resorts/rentals in the area, but I do not care fr them for anything else. Are the cabins 4-season units? or just summer rentals?

THe large place is a regular four season house. The small cabins both have electric heat but no indoor plumbing so you would be roughing it a bit in the winter. But when your snowmobiling, do you really need to shower?

Just a helpful hint. You are going to have to get some plumbing (Bathroom/Shower) in those cabins if you want business.
