With good snow cover the riding is a lot of fun. It is not high speed but the power line switchbacks provide a thrill. Several restuarants are on (or just off) the trail in Ludlow and north towards Killington. A good ride is from Ludlow south to Woodford and back.
Again it is all based on snow and grooming. I keep my four sleds south of Ludlow and last year was mediocre.

700 - Normally there's some good riding in the Ludlow/Chester/Bridgewater area. I've ridden most of the trails there. But, at the same time, the area can get thin like it did last season.
MXZ - Ludlow is about 10 miles East of Belmont

a good ride from ludlow is north to reading then you can either go to bridgewater, south woodstock area or head over toward cooledge park. also from ludlow you can ride to the proctorsville cook shack for a burger and then continue on over hawks mountain (which i live at the base of) down to the north springfield dam area where there is gas. you can also go from this area north and ride up mount ascutney. if anyone has questions about the trails in windsor county this winter i would be happy to keep them posted.
