Just tosing the idea around right now but want to check best area for good schools for my kids. We are happy with the school they are at now now, but we are worried about the middle school when they go there. We have heard some bad things and I would like to move to the Valley anyways so good reason and we might be able to get a deal on a house up there. Even if we take a hit on house good time to get a bigger house for a good deal.

Schools in the Oshkosh area are pretty darn good... I have a child in school now and they bend over backwards for him.
They see that they get the help needed to move on. Just my .02 cents worth.

Kimberly and Neenah have some ofh the top rated schools in the state. I get the sex offener statement though. Appleton was one of best places in the nation to live for the past 10 years straight. Compaired to Milwaukee, Madison, FonDulac, Oshkosh we look pretty safe imho.

Why not look at Marshfield? We are the highest rated school in the whole damn State! Our school system is second to none! Division One sports, except football playoffs when we end up in D2 lately. We are 1.7 hrs west of Appleton and in the heart of snowmobile country!

Know any "Baranek's" or "Treichel's"?

I have heard of Baraneks and the Treichels are somewhat familiar to me.
