I saw the light today , i also broke my hammer too! LONG STORY but I am selling my 08 custom xp. I had ordered a 2010 xrs but cancelled that as well today. I am going back to the rev chassis, this time a racer. I'll do a race to trail conversion and call it a day I suppose with custom goodies as usual. I do love the ergonomics of the xp but I am so much more satisfied with the rev chassis, especially the race one. i have 2 race sleds and a consumer rev as well and other than a few minor things they have been good to me. i'd hate to see this xp go but I must move on.
on my website are pics of my xp in the "projects pics" section. that was late summer last year. what is not the same as listed and as seen in the pics is:
-put the stock flap back on for better cooling
-no decals now on the pearl blue hood
-sled will not be sold with the billet accessories or riser and carbon fiber handgaurds. those stock items will be put back on
-completely stock exhaust
-brand new rails installed but not powdercoated blue like the others were. I snapped those stock chincy sc5 rails!
-snoshooter brass bushings also installed
other than that its what you see! it needs a little bath and the tunnel shine still looks good. i will also include the brp x team saddle bags i bought(like new) and the tunnel bag as well (decent). i will also include a set of brand new 800r stock reeds. currently there are boyesens installed. I will also include a good used cudney clutch kit for it. the sled is at the dealer currently. the primary clutch, secondary clutch,both handwarmers and starter (complete),pistons and rings are all being covered under warranty. this work has been completed but I am awaiting one more issue to be taken care of. the sled hasnt been wrecked. the tunnel is straight,the pastic is good,no major damage of any kind. the snowflap (3rd one) has its typical xp cracking. all original doo updates have been completed as well. the BEST full warranty expires december of 2011 and is transferrable.
This sled rails with the wider front end,complete zbroz x1 shocks and suspension setup! the track digs very well and the seat with the trunk is comfy!!
this sled has received many second glances and compliments and is one of a kind! if i do not sell it whole fairly soon it will be parted out immediately. pm me with what you may be sincerely interested in and i will reply with a price. the sled has 5100 miles on it. also has the module for watertemp,lap times,etc installed. i also installed the heavy duty 440/rs 4 wheel big rear axle.
