Hey all
I contacted ISOC racing for a job which they game me some options. I was also asked if I wanted to get a sno-x race going in my area. I said sure why not I will see what I can do. I would like it to be held at the Outagamie County Fair grounds. My idea was to get snowmobile clubs to get this idea rolling and help purpose it to the Fair Grounds along with ISOC and whoever else will get involved. I have never seen an event come this close and give a local economic boost. One thing I did consider was hotels. The nearest areas would be DE-PERE, Greenbay or Appleton which may not go so well.. I have 4 major dealers in mind and possibly a few more that I can ask for support. I would really like to do this..
does anyone have any other spots that would work ?? Would really like this to become big enough to get on the national Circuit !!

They had races in lambo feild a few years ago. That would be probably the best if they could do it again. You have all your parking and seeting all set up. It would also solve your hotel problem.

yes I do remember that and did say something and they never got back to me.. I am thinking tomorrow I will know.. Only problem is it would probably be in the parking lot because of the field.. The last 2 year they had it in green bay was in the parking lot..

I may be wrong on this, but I thought the first year the races were in the parking lot on the west side, the final years were in the stadium itself.

ISOC wants to do dual points at the Milwaukee Mile if they get it passed.. National and regional racers will be attending. As for me I am waiting to hear back from the Outagamie Country Fair grounds. They seemed really interested.. Hope it all works out

The first year at Lambeau, they didn't make snow when it was cold enough. The temps were to warm the week before the race, so they scooped snow from parking lots and set up a course outside of the stadium. The next 2 years they made snow early, plus the races were moved to Jan. from March. Not enough people showed up to watch. My guess it was very expensive to hold it there. Doubt you'll see a race this big in N.E. Wis. again.

Did get permission to use the Outagamie Fair grounds.. If we get enough people to show up, It will be a national event.. Yes it will be a long time if we ever do get the National Race back in this area.. As for regionals they are pushing for more races..

We are one step closer. Have a meeting set up this thursday to explain what ISOC is about, how it is good for the community and the sponsors of this event, and hopefully signing some contracts.!.!.!
