The R means the helix ramps are cut .060" deeper in the snap ring pocket.

The R32 has a very short 50 duration, it is not near as aggressive as an R8, or any hot seat helix.

Pockets, you seem to br quite knowlegable on the clutch stuff, I am thinking of trying the R32 which is the 50/34 vs the Hot Seat 50/36 since I installed a 136" Ripsaw track. What do you or any body else think?

Thanks Kirt

I would buy the hot seat 34X as a first choice, then the polaris R8 as a second. Not the R32. That is what your 98 600 came with stock, and it was not aggressive enough.

Thanks. I also found in my spare parts a T1 helix which is 42-36-34 how would this compare?

With all the talk of a more aggresive helix, I see that SLP has a helix in 50/34 that is more aggresive designed for deep snow and hills they call it their mountain helix, than their standard 50/34 helix. What do you guys think about that.

that would work or a 34x from hotseat.

I sometimes ran a SLP multi-progressive helix in my 98 XC7 mod, it worked very well. Kirt, RED SLP SKIS!

almond/blue spring, 10-64 weights, 45-36 helix, silver spring, dropped 2 teeth on top.
