From the Vilas County News-Review:
Track Side strikes
marina lease deal
By News-Review Staff
Skipper Bud’s and Track Side announced last Tuesday that they have reached a lease agreement on the former Heckel’s Marina property in Eagle River.
Skipper Bud’s acquired the marina and surrounding real estate in a bank auction that took place in January. Company officials said after considering several options, the best use of the property was to lease it to Track Side.
Track Side will move into the facility April 1 and be open for business May 1.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to expand our business,” said Butch Grenier, owner of Track Side. “Although we have always been in the marine business, this location on the water will allow us to better serve our customers.”
The new name on the marquee along Division Street will read Eagle River Marine, and the dealership will offer many of the same services as in the past, along with a few new items.
“We are pleased with the relationship with Skipper Bud’s and its president, Mike Pretasky, and look forward to providing service to their customers as well,” said Grenier.
“Skipper Bud’s has many customers who live in or travel to the North Woods and this alliance will help us to serve boaters better,” said Pretasky.
