You might find ridable snow in the U.P. of Michigan, but Id say you can forget about Wisconsin. The trails in Minocqua/Eagle River/St Germain are toast.
My parents live in St Germain and yesterday when I talked to them, they said the trails are MUD!
Id say if you really, really need to ride one last time this season; call and see what the conditons are in the U.P. Otherwise, pack it in and put the sled on mothballs until December.

Keep an eye on the Hurley area, as they are talking heavy snow there around Tuesday. 12+ inches are possible, if the storm tracks the right way.............

we were in the UP last weekend. Unless the western section gets dumped on, I wouldn't go any further south than Houghton. North of Houghton there was still a lot of snow on the trails.
tomahawk had NO snow left when we stopped in on saturday. actually saw 2 people driving on the mud and grass, it made me want to puke. i would think that wisconsin riding is all but done. there is a lot of water all over the place. don't need to piss off any landowners by ripping sh!t up.

We went from Houghton north on saturday and it was good snow but the trails got rough towards the end of the day. Sunday went south of Houghton towards Ontonagon? in the morning and the trails were great. Hug the lake and you should be fine.

If you head to white pine, mass city, twin lakes, houghton, keewenaw you should have no problem riding good trails. They may not be firm and fast, and there will be gravel and mud at road crossing, but I am sure there is great riding to be had. I will be riding up there the next two weekends.

It is raining (HARD) in the Minocqua, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae area right now. it's done unless we get some miracle dumping of 24" or more in the next week (Doubtful)

We are heading up to Houghton Thursday morning.. They are supposed to get 7 to 10" tonight, threw tomorrow... Talked to a buddy up there today, said the trails are in great shape.... With the extra snow, and the cold temps, should be a perfect weekend to ride up there...

We may head up to Hurley Friday night. Not sure as I am sick and the weather looks warm for Sat and Sun. But it looks as if it may be the last ride of the year as they are talking 40's up north all next week................Brian

Went to Hurley, started out this AM, not too bad, few bare spots, roads are toast. Then by afternoon it was all loose and turning into junk. After today or tomorrow there will be nothing left. 150 miles, last ride of the year for me, it was fun, but it is over.................
