There was lake effect snow, right near the lake only. But I don't know of any trails right there. I'm 20 miles west of the lake but don't plan on going there to ride. Its probably possible but I highly doubt its worth towing from Iowa.

Just talked with my wife (Shorewood, Eastside of Milwaukee) about 12". My son is at Marquette (Downtown MKE) and it sounds like 14-16+ there. If I we're home I would be on Lake Drive rippn'!

FWIW, weekend of the 14th we're heading (as of today, conditions permit) to Forrest county (Laona) if you would like to join- we have lodging covered (buddy's house) let's talk

There is no place in the Milwaukee area you can ride. The lake effect snow didnt cover anything more than 5-10 miles inland (depending on your location). That means the snow only covered half of the counties and left the other half of them completely bare so they havent opened any of the trails around here. Sorry.
