About time we might get a decent storm. It has not snowed here much since Christmas. Hope this holds us into March so we can get in a few more weekends of riding. They are talking 6"to 10", if it hits, it will be the biggest storm of the year so far for this area. Thursday is the day, think snow..................

Reality is that it would take more than a foot before there would be any chance of reopening, even then it would be questionable. Too many farm fields, not enough wooded areas in the southern half of the county.

We still have kind of a icy base on our trails so they will open with about 6" of snow. Wausau area was open last weekend and they only got like 4" last week. I am pumped to ride again. Hope they get hit hard up North also as they have a better chance of it sticking around longer as the days get warmer and warmer.................

Got out yesterday evening for a ride. 70 miles, NW portage county and SW marathon county. Trails were pretty good for the amount of snow. A few bare spots, but not many. We got at least 6 inches of very heavy snow here so far since about noon, its still piling up. I would enjoy getting the sleds out one more time. However I doubt they will open the trails. Seeing the ground got so soft and muddy IM sure would really tear things up.
