i know, i have no clue why it is for sale, it's been for sale since last summer though. i have eaten there once though, lots of nascar stuff on the ceiling lol

I ate there before... the prices are a lil steep for me and my friends so we usually keep on going. I noticed the web page that the property value is $2,250,000 and property taxes are $3,600 a year. We pay almost twice that amount and thats with my dad getting a senior discount. 2.5 million seems inflated and $3600 in taxes on a land assesed at that value... come on! :frech32:

I would love to see the numbers that supports that asking price, price, I wonder if the real estate office screwed up and It should be theNEW Daikers Listed on the web site.

Look on the bright side...the new owner will have to keep it open for snowmobilers just to pay for it. It's a good destination spot for lunch when you've got a long ride planned.

i like riding out in tug hill better, out on trail 5 and moose river plains tends to be bumpy a lot i_need_snow.gif

Been there many a time. The food is good, but the prices are a bit high. I think the real estate agent put an extra 0 on the end of the price! The property value and taxes do not go together. Shoot my taxes are over $5000.00 and my humble home is worth in the $140,000.00 range.

The new Daikers isn't for sale is it? I work with a guy who is good friends with the owner and haven't heard anything about it.

I was making a joke, about how it must be the new Daikers to be asking that much.

Was the Ol Barn the place that had a PVC pipe right behind the bar that would suck your empty beer cans up a shoot? If this was the place, I remember good food and lots of stuff to look at. Hope the new owners keep it as nice.

If you mean stuff to look at as being nascar stuff then that is the place.
