I have "new to me a beautiful" 02 800 X EDGE - blue and yellow. I noticed a few rock chips on the spindle and trailing arm, any body know a paint match or number, does polaris carry this ? Secondly I am trying to decide on a windshield. I am think[ng of mid either chrome mirrored OR a little more Yellow with the Yellow mirrored. Any body have an oppinion or better yet a picture with these two winshields?

Your colour is Polaris Screaming Yellow, paint code P-216. On my 02 X I liked the look of the stock mid height w/s. With the w/s bag in behind it almost looked black.

Yamadoo, I have an 03edgeX 600 blue and yellow, my wife has a 500. Mine looks great with a midheight blue chrome Cobra windshield. My wife has a taller chrome shield on hers. I have seen the yellow chrome on the same sled and I personally like the blue chrome. Sorry, I lost my pics when I upgraded my computer, hopefully I can get some posted here soon.

It is funny I heard myself say on multiple occaissions to my Polaris buddies , " that is the best looking Polaris ever 'blue edge X'" and then I had a chance to buy a low miles one and now I am excited.

Whatever you do don't get the yellow Edge windshield it is a icky blah yellow. I would go something flashy on the blue edge

Well guys I got the chrome yellow sindshield at Haydays. I was originally against this then my wife and I saw one for sale - and we liked it so I bought the yellow chrome.
I like the look, but maybe a little to attention getting for a midle aged man like me.
I can't wait for snow.
