Poo boy
As I sit and wait for the snow to fly I was thinking of what to do to the wife's sled. Does anyone have any idea what set up to put in an Indy 440 that will make it fun? It is a 97 and its quick but I want to make it a little more interesting. Any ideas out there?
pockets
Stock weights, polaris light blue primary spring, but that will give 5000 engagement. For lower engagement, put in a new gold primary spring, and a .090" shim in the spring pocket on the stationary sheave. A shim like the ones used for the secondary clutch, between the sheaves on old models. Then a R8 50/34 helix, with stock red spring #2 hole, and 3- .030" shims under the snap ring. Have the clutch alignment and belt clearance to the primary clutch checked, it should be .010" to .025" with a just used 3211070 belt. Also the wearable parts in the clutches must be checked. Set the RRSS to the rear hole onlow position as well.
