Hello from Norman Wells! Nice to know there are least three of us out there. I'll visit more frequently now that fall is on its way. The Mackenzie mountains had snow on them yesterday...it won't be long now! :celebrating:

Coming back next weekend to go for a ride, then agian in December for 3 weeks and then for 3 in March ...

Of course I kept MY pad IN YK in case AB sucks ~!

im waitin for my sled to get sent frum YK to here..Nfld,,,Yk is bomb for sleddin.. ...golf course and sand pits...damn cold at times tho....
its gets good after around the end of jan then u can sled with juss a hoody sumtimes...

It's good to hear someone is riding alot, it's hard to imagine that you guts can ride while we are mowing grass. Not a very good place for sledding here in the banana belt.

I am here too just got my internet back and I gotta fix my stuff!! White Bear did a crap job of installing my new bulk head so it cracked and buckled through the front suspension mountaing bolts. I will show a pic some day I need a complete new frame :banghead:

Anyone out there from Hay River, or Smith area. A few of the guys here want to do a long distance trip, so I thought a little run down the Athabasca River to chip, over night, and on to Smith, and maybe Hay River. I know the snow is great up there, but how is the Slave River for overflow and such. I would like to do this before spring, but I am not sure if the guys can get there sh@t together in time. Anyhow, I anyone has any info, let me know. Thanxs.

Lots of snow in Hay River I hear, me and a couple of buddies from Ekati were thinking of taking a little road trip down there next weekend to try out our new machines. They're getting some good snow in YK too. I get out of camp on monday, and the first thing I'm doing is firing up my sled.

About zero right now , half together, not buildin it for speed.
Running a 136*2 for some boondockin fun out west. I have it
geared around a 2:1 ration. Chart says with the rpm it runs
i should see around 105mph
