Has anybody gutted a canister before? I am thinking of making it lighter, gutting out what ever i can take off. But will not change the back pressure.
Need more info on this issue.

Not a good idea to gut a canister. The pipe and can are tuned for the right amount of backpressure. Major problems would result from gutting one.

i did it with a xcr440 canister, didn't make a diference.
