Everyone knows that digital camera's eat batterys. I want to know what everyone uses to charge their batteries and what batteries they use.
I use the Duracell Rechargable Accu with duracell rechargeable batteries that came with it. It works great. When you put old batteries into the charger and go to recharge them, a red light will go on telling you that it is not fully charged. When the batteries are fully charged a green light will go on.

Anybody know who or where I can get "N" size nimh batteries. Maybe somebody knows what these batteries are used in and that might help. I have looked all over for them. Can only find nicad. Thanks.

"N" size batteries are used in some clock movements.. I'd try a Radio Shack store, they should have them.

Tried, but they don't make them anymore. I even searched the web and only one robotics place says they can make them. Didn't ask a price though. I'll order the nicads again, they lasted for a few years. OEMs use the strangest things sometimes just so you have to buy from them or send it back for repair. I paid $2 per battery and needed 6. I bet it would have been over a $100 to send it in for new ones. I have Monster nimh batteries in my camera. They seem to work well. They came with the charger and weren't that much. Same company as Monster Cable, so I'm sure they are just re-branded.

I've got some Sony 2100mAh (AA's), and some Powerex 2200mAh. Both are very good, but the Powerex definitely last a bit longer. The NiMh AA's have really gotten good and they are inexpensive (plus you can use them in things besides your camera); I wouldn't buy a camera that takes anything besides AA.

I got a whole "starter kit" when I bought my Fuji FinePix. It came with a case and a battery charger with 4 AA Panasonic batteries.
I used the heck out of that camera when I first got it. I used it all weekend before the batteries that came in the camera from the factory went dead.
I have to agree with DamageInc. You can find AA batteries at any corner gas station.

I bought the Ray-o-Vac 15 minute rechargeables. They cost $39.99, and that gave you a charger and two batteries. Two batteries is OK for me as my Fuji FinePix 210 only uses 2 batteries, kind of nice. Anyway, I also got a free car charging cord in the mail (I had to send $3.95 for shipping). They work as advertised. Here is a link to the review:
