Best bang for your buck would be clutching and gearing. Some of the guys on here will jump in and suggest what to do to the clutching and gearing. I do not know enough about clutching a 600 with a Team roller like yours has.

I kind of figured it would be a change of that sort, is messing with the clutches hard to do or is it farely easy to work on i have no idea what it involves will i need to get any special tools or are there ways of getting around that

The only special tool you would need is clutch puller to take off your primary clutch. I would change your weights to 60 or 62 gm weights. Primary spring to 150-310 or 165-310. Leave the stock secondary spring and change the helix . Something around 66-44-.46 would work good.

By the way, you can get most of the parts you would need trough Erlandson Performance Inc. The weights, clutch puller, and springs for the primary clutch would be available through them. For the helix that Nickels suggested, go to your local Polaris dealer and order part number #5133721. It is the Team helix for a Pro X 440 race sled. It comes with 2 sets of angles. A 70/44-.46 and a 66/44-.46. The price on this helix through Polaris is $69.99. The same helix through Team goes for $89.00 in their 2003-2004 catalog, so ordering it through Polaris will save you $20. I am linking you to the Erlandson site.

Want more snap to the motor - higher compression heads will wake the motor up a bit more. - WL -

reeds! and jets, and well if you have the mechanical know-how lrean how to set up those air screws! and like every one else said those 10-62 clutch weights make those liberty 600's tear off right nice. But i perfer the black green spring(primary).
Change those exhaust springs, ask for the spring out of a Pro X 600 you'll need two, give those vavles a good cleaning too! before you put them back in, try any few of these, most of them are cheap to do. or well shave your head take 10 thousands off, give her a couple more pounds of compression i think a new head is $120 cdn

kick this bad boy up to a 660 and HANG THE PHUQ ON!!!!!!!!! it WILL run with and beat modded 800's... if you think i'm smoking crack start doing your research... jack struthers knows his CHIT and it is very forgiving for the average tuner as well... wide power band, excellent hp, no finicky bs... just a stout running sled you can rely on all winter...
