Any of you fellas from NY ever ride in Scoharie County? Hows the trails and the trail system? Do they groom? It looks like it would be great snowmobile country. Thanks

It's Great as long as you get the snow. We ride just above 90 all the time in Fulton, Montgomery & Saratoga counties. We ride in Herkimer County right next door in Richfield Springs and they have some great riding. Definitaley worth it, plus it is a nice hidden secret since most guys hear NY and run to Tug Hill.

Summit area gets great snow (for the area). Albany can have nothing, and they still have 3 feet. Well organized club in the area with a mix of tug hill type trails and narrow trails through the woods and fields. Grooming is pretty good. But don't tell anyone.

I agree with shesuredoshine. My favorite riding area is in Richfield Springs area. Montgomery Co. started to come out very nice with new created trails system w/ an access to the bike path from last year and hopefully we'll have it again this winter. As long as we have snow again, we should have another decent winter hopefully. WL.

I've been mapping out all the trails around here for when we finally get the snow (Just got a sled in NY so I don't know the trails here, Bangor Maine area I know real well). I'm not finding any trail info for Fulton Co at all. I have all of montgomery, schenectady, schoharie, and hamilton but I'd like to fill in the gap between fonda and wells.

Any help?

I leave from Herkimer too!

I went to the Frontier Club and looked at their map. How do you get to Summit from there. Is there another club in the middle that has a map to Summit.
The Summit Sno Riders map ends on Sawyer Hollow Rd. just before West Fulton.
I know we're supposed to be able to get to Middleburg from Summit and there's
mention of Cottonhill Rd.
What I would like to do is be able to get to the Foxenkill Restaurant from Summit.
I've had some people tell me it's possible but they don't know the exact route.
I'd appreciate any help.... thanks....

From Duanesburg you head through Esperence/Sloansville and hit the Cave Country Club trails that take though Carlise to Sharon Springs. From there you can either go through Cherry Valley through Worster to Summit or from Sharon Springs through Cobleskill to Summit. Then from Summit through Middleburgh/Schoharie back to Duanesburg. Not Sure how to get from the trails to the Foxenkill. I stay away from that place. Expensive drink prices, no pool table or Jukebox, and I personally think the owner and his wife are a-holes
