ANY NEWS ON THE SPRINGS OR HELIX UPDATES. NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THEM. I HAVE A 04 PRO X 800 AND I REMEMBER SOME PEOPLE SAYING THE SPRING IS WRONG. I JUST CALLED TEAM AND THEY ARE CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS. ANYBODY KNOW WHATS UP.

the 04's should have the correct spring, what they did was reversed the wind on it (from clockwise to counter-clockwise) to help prevent spring bind...

There is also a shim kit that is to be installed. I will look up the part number and post it. It includes two small white shims, one to be placed under each side of the spring. I ordered the correct spring and shims from Team this spring.

sorry for the dumbass question but, is an update somthing like a recall or is it something that i would have to take care of my self.

not a recall since the old version actually work OK, just that the newer one works better... and yes you would have to pay for it yourself, only about 20 odd bucks though

I HAVENT HAD A TEAM CLUTCH APART, DOES ANY BODY HAVE AND INFO ON THE PROCEDURE FOR THESE.

when you pull it off the sled you'll see, it is very easy... a few torx bolts to remove the helix and a clutch compression tool to remove the spring... cake walk i tell ya
