I'm planning a couple of loops thru Western Quebec this winter. On both of them I would like to come thru the Verendrye, twixt Belleterre and Maniwaki on the TQ.

While riding true Sennenterre on my last ride of the season last winter we ran into some guys who reported that Joncas had BURNED and was closed down. They reported that the owners were planning to rebuild as soon as possible.

Anybody have the skinny on Joncas??

thanx

Hi

The Pourvoirie Joncas has been rebuilt and was open last winter. It cost a couple of millions of dollars to build as NEW. The main lodge is huge and sleeps around 20 people. There are also around 10 cottages you can rent and sleep as well. Food was superb.

I can send you pictures if you want, simply send an email at ggper2000@yahoo.ca

You can also visit the snowmobile club web site at www.oursblancs.com and obtain all information.

Regards,

Guy
