I have a Canon A1 with about 6 very fast lenses. A few dollars invested. Bought a pocket digital camera to hold me over till Canon came out with a digital body that would take the older lenses. Well it's not going to happen. So now I'm starting to shop for a digital SLR. Looking at the Canon Rebel. Would like to get the 28-135 IS lens for it. Good for all round use and would be on the camera most of the time. I can spend about 1400.00 to start all over again. I see there are adapters made to use the old lenses but you loose an f-stop and can't focus to infinity. Not to bad as the old lenses I bought where very fast in their category. Anyone have opinions or suggestions on what to get. What would you do? Would like to be able to use the old lenses.
Thanks / J
