I have been tossing around the idea of getting another high end cam since my 4megapixel got stepped on a while back. Right now I have been using Kodak cams (a 2.0 since the accident) has anyone seen a good review they can point me at... or does anyone have an experience with multiple 5mp cams that can tell me what would be a good way to start... I like the Kodaks a lot + already running the software...

Rob.. anyone... help!!!

I have a Nikon Coolpix 5700 first decent camera I have ever owned, it's easy to use and takes great pics, it actually makes me look like I know what I'm doing.

Depends on what you want to spend, but the Canon Digital Rebel EOS 300D with the 10D mods sounds like the best deal going to me. Essentially a $1,300 camera for $800.

I would go for the Digital Rebel also..

I actually looked at the Rebel... but way too pricy for what I need...so I ended up getting a Kodak DX6490 with the 10x Optical Zoom... I think that will do just fine... it isnt 5.0mp but 4.0 should be plenty...

4.0 should be more than enough, the 10X optical is whats really good IMO.

this digital camera gives you an oppertonity take a great pics at night time, daytime. It is very compact to take on birthday parties, on sport events... and it has also 1 advantage too.. with it you can capture pics without BLUURING
