I have been throwing ideas around of just oil injecting the 440 I just picked up, or putting in my 700 I have sitting on the floor. After talking to a few people I am going to do the 700 now. The big block pinned thread jumps around between not using brad's plate and using it. I am in hope of making this thread just about using the stock straps.
Here is what i collected so far.
1.) 440 straps are usable, just drill a new hole to mount to a big block.
2.) 1.5" spacers between the motor and the straps
3.) .25" spacers between the mounts and the front straps
4.) Bulkhead has to be cut to run oil injection
5.) Different steering post and hoop. (What are the part #'s or where to find them?)
I think this is right so far. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I have not done this yet. Just the info I gathered.

i forget the part # for the black plate thats around the jack shaft most people just use the stock one and drill new holes but if you want the 800 one ill get you the part#
you can get all of this at yor dealer or threw polaris racing
you have to get all your spacers made up
one person on here is selling his 800 motor, pipes and everything else to drop in to the iq chassie except hoop and post for cheap
hope this helps

PM Iwannagofast he has/had a package deal involving an 800 for an IQR that was a good deal. Not sure if he still has it or not, but it'd definatly be worth a shot.

ok this info is good thanks guys.
Now for my pipe. With a little cutting and twisting my stock 700 pro-x pipe and y pipe should fit correct? Along with an mbrp can.
