I''m up to setup my 700sks-02 for watercross and I wonder how I setup the rear rear?

Some tuners say go for lots of transfer and soften up as much as possible. And others say stiffen up the rear rear or you go bunshing in the wawes.

What should I go for?
xc-mark
lighter the better! keep the water off the clutches and out of the carbs ,if it looks like your going to dunk it shut if off FAST!

Should i remove the rear blocks and soften up the springs?
trackstand
ive raced in the drags.ive mad 12 runs on a 900' lake.i have a 98 600 xc clutched, twin pipes, geared down for 0 to 90mph.strip off as much weight as possabile.front track shock stiff as possiable, rear as soft as u can to keep the skis out of the water.springs as soft as u can get them.one splash of water on the clutches and its over tape all the holes u can.with a sks long track it should be a blast.truning is very trickey.i have be lucky so far with that setup.have not weat down yet.
