I dont know about anyone else but Im itching for some grass action soon!! Anybody know when people start heading over to the field?

i cant wait either, i was accually going to get my sleds dug out a little today and fire them up. burn out the fogging oil. cant wait myself.
i need an adress again tho, i got a new truck and lost the saved one in my gps.

i hope the rev can hold its own, but i know a few big boys coming out to play with that my little 800 wont hold off

i drove my srx last weekend!!! it felt good to rip the lawn up on these peole hear. i hope the field opens up soon. i gota break my new sliders in.

if this weekend didnt suck i was going to dig my sleds out. have not seen them since last year. i have a few things i need to do to them, mine needs all new bushings in the front end, i have a new rear shock im going to put in, and i need to swap out a few broken studs. im going to throw a little difrent clutching at it for the grass. last year i just used my trail set up. so hopefully she will work good.
we'll see.

No one is racing yet. Usually people are by the second weekend in oct. The field is 3 mins away from me if i hear of anything going on sooner ill post it.

its a 2 hour ride for me, so please double check. im going to pull my sleds out today, or atleast fire them up.
i have to finish tearing down my motor from the race car, get that ready to go out for the winter set up the garage for the sleds. i might not be ready for next weekend, but defietly the following!! cant wait

Nice looking Z28, whats it run? Is that the LS1? Stock CI or stroker? Do you have to drop the engine out the bottom or can you pull it out the top? My dad had bought a brand new 95 Z-28 LT1 and at that time everyone said it had to come out the bottom.

is the field cut? hopefully it will dry up and we can all go sunday

its a 99 Z28, it is an ls1 car, however i did the GMPP LSX block last season, its a 427 SB LS series. it runs
8.70 @ 155 but soon to be faster.

i pull my motor and every other one i have ever done from the top, its way easier

Those are some sick numbers. I'd assume its and auto? I remember those brothers from that one PINKs episode where he was running a stick in that SS running some pretty serious times and the brother had the 68 Firebird stick car. I'd assume they were Jerico's.

yes, mine is auto, your talking about the Tosto Bros, great guys, ive delt with them before, that was a great show. the orange SS is now back to a stock motor no bars, chute and running slower, he tuned it way down to run a local class for him.

me and my buddy with his stag where going to do it he is the guy that did my motor. they didnt end up coming to NED. we had it all ready to go and had a deal together for the winner/looser. it would have been a good show, we where both going to try to blow em up. lol

Yeah those are the brothers. That was to date in my opinion the best episode ever. Running 9's pulling the wheels and pulling gears is just SICK. Some weird stuff went on with the Ebay deal and that 68 Firebird. I see he pulled the 357 SBC and now he's running a 427 SBC. They both seemed like good guys on the show. I'd love to see a rematch with a good clutch in the Firebird.

Any word for this weekend??

i havent had tome to do my fall stuff to my sled, but im going to try. i need to remove the clutches, clean them, greese everything, adjust the track etc, new plugs run it out of stabil. lol change chain case oil re tighten everything etc etc etc.
but if this weekend is a go, i will try to get it done.

please shoot me the street name again so i can punch it into the nav. i forget how to get there

Talked to woody at the show last night, said was"nt getting involved this year, to busy with new camp up north. But did say they were racing this sunday. I hope this helps everyone

yeah, i feel bad for you guys...we meet up with Louie and we pulled down and the farmer came out and told us. I did get his number though so ill be checking in before we waste another day.

no, i just like the back yard stuff, my sled is a trail sled, i run it with carbides and all lol im no pro, id just be in the way. i like the fun back yard stuff
