I also I have one junior with a 370 looking to race someone in the junior class!

It is Russell Beef and Barley days with alot of events going on around town.On Sat night Aaron Lines (country music) is live in concert in the Arena begining at 8:00 PM!

If the weather is like this weekend I am sure we will have a good turn out!!! Hope to see you there.

Should be an awesome weekend!!!!

Well HIGH VOLTAGE looks like WFO is out, I guess you will take the money with the T-cat or the laydown. Maybe Clearence from JACKHEAD or the Floodway kings will get YA. It should be good,
they all had some time to test and test some more.

Good luck to all the racers that go to Russell, see you all at the first snow drags of the year or the Portage grass drags if there are some?

I will have to read the ISR rule book ,but by the time I read it I hope that Brad or Dale could post and let everyone know! We will get back to you.
Oh Canada
answers I got last year

High Voltage Racing
I just spoke with Brad, and Kam pretty much hit it on the head and I will try to clearify a few points.

Weight- Stock sleds have two weights filled Dry weight and Wet weight.

Dry weight are the weights released to the public. These are the weights the companys brag about. They are the weights with no oil in the crankcase,no grease in the bearings,no oil in chaincases, no antifreeze in them, etc etc.

Wet weights are not published to the public! They include the sled with these fluids added! ISR has these weights but thet are not open to the public! Brad told me a general rule off thumb could be to take your so called dry weight and add 25 lbs! This should calculate what the sled is expected to weigh at an ISR event! Roughly.

If you run picks they add 20 pds to the sled weight, if not the weight does not get added!
So if your sled is picked+dry weight is 503 lbs, add 25 lbs for true weight, add 20 lds for picks=548 lbs on the scale. If no picks 503+25=528lbs on the scale. If you don't make this weight you will add ballast! If you are way over you have a little work to do to get it down!

Your driver must weight at least 180 pds. If your driver weighs 140 then you will add 40pds of ballast! If your driver weight is 220--too bad you do not get to reduce overall weight of sled driver combo! Get him on a diet!!!

Tracks--
You can run any commercially avalable track! There can not be modifications done to frame, drive or suspension to install the track ! This means any lug height! You can not run a longer track then it would have come with. If i came with a 121 you can not use a 128!
Now the issue with the crossfires. They come with a 14 x 128. There is no speed track made 14 inches wide, Therefore they are allowed to run a 13.5x128 speed or grass track.

Brad said he would go on tonight and look into this site. I hope this helps. I have 4-5 rule books if required--they ussually come with a paid membership but call me if or PM me if you require one.

High Voltage Racing
Hey Guys, I just got back from the track at 6:30PM.

It will be a go !!!! I walked and drove the track, it is not muddy as a matter of fact A local sled ripped a few times and it held up pretty darn good due to the grass !!! It would take alot of rain to change this!!!

I will be at the track by 8:00am and I will update tommorrow by 9:00 am incase things change drastically.I will return calls after that post!

The tractor cultivated the feild next to the track today!

I want to let everybody know that CO-OP GAS BAR in RUSSELL has sponsored the race and I would like to thank them as well as inform the racers that they have the only premiem gas in town! Please support them! They are off #16 highway onto main street(the main entrance)into Russell, about 2 blocks then on left hand side.

I am off the computer but on my cell 937-7555

High Voltage Racing
