So with this talk of the taking a 600 and bolting on a 700 topend to work. Can you take the new 800 bottom end and bolt on a 1000 topend?

I agree! It's pretty sad that my buddies 06 xfire 7 is right next to me at full throttle on my 07 xfire 8! I do like the motor though. Smooth and good torgue and easy on fuel. I do use less gas than he does.
I'm not interested in doing this swap I was just curious on a technical side if it was possible.
