Does anyone have any experience with the Z1000 Jag? If you own or have owned this machine in the past I would like to hear your opinions on it. Positives and Negatives. My uncle is thinking about picking up a used one with less than 500 miles on it. Thanks.

Totally awesome sled. The best way to tell just how good it is, is that 2 of the people that rode my sled last year ordered one this year....and they were both riding '08 2-strokes. The ride is amazing, but the motor quite simply is addicting and you will wonder why you ever rode anything else. The main thing is to remember this is a replacement for the 600 class 2-stroke market....not 800 or 1000. If you are looking for 600 class or a little better power, good fuel economy, unreal throttle response and throttle feel, quiet smooth engine & the best ride in the business....this is the sled for you!! If you want all of this but 1000+ power....get the TURBO!!!

PS It is a Z1 1100...if you care...hope this helps!!

Cool. Sorry, I didn't realize it was an 1100. I don't think he'll spring for the new turbo version!! Wish he would so I could try it!! Anyway, I believe the asking price is around 6,000$ with well under 500 miles. deal or no deal? Thanks for the input. Anybody else?!

Buy it, where is it? I picked one up last month for $5500 and I have been looking for about 3-4 months and shopping. There have been some good deals out there but there going quick. At 500 miles it's not even broken in yet.

Think snow!

As far as I know (they) are still there, 1 red and 1 green at Houlton powersports. I'm not positive about the name. Asking price was $6500.00 last winter. My uncle was up there a couple weeks ago and they were still there then, so a guy might be able to get them cheaper. Both machines have way less than 500 miles on them.
Anyway , that's what I know. I guess my uncle wants something faster now. My cousin and I have recently upgraded our machines to 700's and he wants to make sure he can keep up. Ha Ha
