I sold my stock Ripsaw. Now the question is...which 1.5" track to buy?. Most of my riding is off trail so I'm looking for something that's suitable for 85/15, off trail/trail in a 1.5" lug design. Any suggestions? What are you guys running if different than stock? I'm looking at the the camoplast Intense. Any experience with this track?

no review , just put it on,
but i have had a 1.75 backcountry on my last xfire in both 136 and 144 lengths
i did run the 136 around sealevel some, and i can say that it is a good track imo.
it would hook up well on the trail and ripped it up offtrail . it could slip some on corners if you hit a icy patch and it cut my top speed down. what i liked about it though is when you hit a drift or something it would get the front end up in the air if you got on the throttle. actully for that matter it could do that on the trial even til about 40ish. my old ripsaw would just spin.
only reason i didnt put a backcounty back on was i have a mountain sled also now and dont need such a powder orientated crossover. and well i tried 2 already, 136 and 144. and just wanted to try something else. this track has the quiet pads on it /shrug and the paddles have some V ness to them where the backcoutry are straight accross paddles + i got it off ebay for 100 less than i could have gotten a 1.5 intence for from tracks usa.
early intence 1.5 had some issues with delaminating, not sure about now though , aslo they are now clipped every window ,, first ones were pace 3 or everyother

The intense is a descent track, my buddy had one 2 years ago and it did have delamination issues. I would say its a good 50 off 50 on trail track, if your going to be off trail 85% of the time I would consider the 1.75 backcountry first, it's 10x better off trail and still good on trail.

People should hate us this winter if we hook up for a ride.....I throw about a 35' tall roost and 50 or so feet back..... 2.25" A20 in Hillclimb and shortened flap(but run a long rubber one for trails)

Not sure if anyone has tried one on here yet, but the new 09 Xfire snopros have a 1.5" Cobra. But not sure if you can get one in a 2.52 pitch. the new xfires are now 141"and 3 pitch

i beleive you can......only due to the fact I "THINK" SledSolutions got one for his sled last year in 136"x15x1.35" A little shorter of a lug, but I think he liked it.

Yeah. SS got me into snowmobiling last year after 20+ years of nagging. He loved the 1.35 Crobra on his Nytro, but the sled was not great for the type of riding we do so he traded it for an Apex LTX when we were in the Keweenaw. The Cobra hooked extremely hard on the trails for not being studded. The torque of that 4 stroke helped too!

One word.....
INTENSE
Cobra is an AWESOME track if you do 50/50 but as much powder riding we do the 1.5" Intense would do better for our 70/20/10.
You might wonder why I broke it down into 3 types of riding is because for you it's 70% off trail, 20% trail and 10% off sled.

Just doing my part to keep y'all entertained. I think its actually more like 70-5-25. That last tree left me sitting on the side of that gravel pit for quite a long time wondering what in the fuck happened.
