Going to port my track this week or sooner. If anyone has done it ,I am looking for some pointers on what type of drill bit you used. I have read some of the treads from a while back and just looking for some new thoughts. Any help will be great. Thanks

Just use a 1 1/4" hole saw bit, grind the teeth smooth. Put three hole in the center and none on the outside and good to go!!!

I just did it like 2 weeks ago... I did 1 1/2* (3.0 pitch track) holes 3 across in the center belt. Added up to 2.5LBS of material removed. Grinding the teeth off a hole saw works well. After the hole saw gets hot it will melt right thru the track, it works pretty good. Keep a screwdriver handy so pry out the cutouts.

that tool from bdx is nice cause you dont have to pry out the chunks that get stuck in the hole saw all the time.
