what is the elevation you are at?It could be the dealer you bought from didnt set it up for where you are riding. It is very rare to see a new 500ho with a plug problem in fact at our dealership we have noticed the ho carb runs cleaner than the efi's.pullm the diaphram out of the top and make sure it's not torn also make sure the needle is seated in the slide. If there is still waranty TAKE IT BACK TO YOUR DEALER!

thanks i will still have warranty but dealer is 200 miles away if you are riding it over 25 for the day works fine but if you drive it in trails about 10 miles per hour for about 2 miles thats when the problem starts also if you are going up hill dealer is in bangor i am in new brunswick so elevation should be the same how do the 500 carbs work?also what should top speed be and mileage to tank of fuel?thanks Phat.
