I put them on my 96 zrt. It made a new sled out of it..... Well worth the money. Took about 2-3 hrs to install.

I was also considering this kit for my ZRT, I instead decided to pick up a used TSL skid and install that instead. It took me 4 hours from start to finish to install the new skid, went better than I had expected. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but by the way the sled sits it looks like it is going to be a much better ride.

I put the long legs on a 1995 ZR 700 and it was well worth it, Made the sled ride much better. I'd recomend it 100%.nbs

I put one on my old sled, a '96 ZR580. I was well worth it. I bought the parts from the local Cat dealer and saved approx $100. I don't have the part#s, but someone posted them recently on this site or arcticchat.com

i believe all the parts you need come from a 1997 zl440. you should save a considerable amount of money.

Here are the parts from a 97 ZL440:
0704-323 Arm, Idler
0704-322 Arm, Rear
1604-130 Strap, Limiter
0704-990 SPRING,SUSP.-(.421 WIRE)-R/H-PTD BLK
0704-991 SPRING,SUSP.-(.421 WIRE)-L/H-PTD BLK
1604-197 SPRING,FRT ARM-PTD BLK
The rear arm mounts on the tunnel 2 inches forward of the stock location. On the slide rail the rear arm mounts on the last hole. On my 93 580 there was a bracket on the tunnel with an existing hole that I just had to finish drilling out. I just installed it a couple of weeks ago so I haven't tested it to see how the ride is. It is definately higher though. I was going to use the stock front spring from my 580Z but I found that while the rear is nice and soft the front of the rear suspension is still too stiff so I have ordered the above spring to see if that makes a difference.

Put a set of BLT long legs on my ZRT 800. Definate improvement with travel. Did have some trouble with track tension. Paid around $360 4 years ago. Worth it then. You may want to look for a ETT suspension and get the torque sen. link also.

i saw there ad in snowtech, but does your sled handle as good, because the back end will sit high up with the front end low...
and ucop27 how much was that skid? and it bolted right in?

Added alot more ski pressure at first but with some adjustments overall handling was better than original.

I bought the skid off of ebay for $300 or so with very low miles on it and NO it didn't bolt right up, the front and rear holes are moved forward, you also need to make new re-enforcement plates for inside of the tunnel for the front holes, it really wasn't that hard to do, took me 4 or so hours from start to finish.
