Anyone use an aftermarket digital speedo? Im looking for one for my 06' Vector. Any ideas?

Before I got my Apex I was trying to figure out different digi speedo ideas as well. I was gonna try a digital bike speedo but was worried that I couldn't reliably mount the sensor and reader close enough without having a chunk of ice or stick eventually take it out. Ultimately the best thing to do is just get and mount a GPS and set it to a page that shows the digital speed readout, plus you get all the GPS functions.

dont change that spedo on a apex. the sled will go into a "limp home" mode. the guage actually controls part of the fuel injection. on the vector you can run them without the stock guage.

First, an Apex will run without the speedo. 2nd, I did nothing to the speedo on my Apex. I considered lots of crazy shit to make a digital speedo on my SX7. The best thing to do is leave the stock speedo as is and install a GPS on the bars to have a digital readout of actual, measured GPS speed. OR add a carPC with GPS capabilities; too much $ for most.

i dont want to argue with you but i have personaly experienced an apex that does not run properly without the spedo guage pluged in. you do realize that you can adjust your co levels with your guage right? once again not argueing, just my experience
