Hi,
Just moved to a new location in Alaska and decided it was time to buy my first sled. I am looking at a used 2006 Arctic Cat Crossfire 700 SP with 130 miles that is being sold for $5400. Does this seem like a fair price? The owner put a rumble pack also on it (not sure what it is). This would be my first sled and used mostly on trails and some hill riding. Is this model efi or carbuated? Anything else I should know about these? Thanks,
Dave

that's a great snowmobile and will be perfectly suited for what you want to do. that should be efi.
the price is fair.. i don't know what the market is like up there, last year there were some new leftover ones here for a couple hundred more than that, but it's a fair price.
rumblepack is an aftermarket silencer that'll make it alot louder. ask if the guy still has the stock one and put that back on.

I have seen a few for slightly less, however you are in Alaska. With only 130 miles, that's just broken in so it's basically new. Price seems OK. My only advice would be to get a good clutch kit for it. They were not setup the best form Factory. Alos get the Black Diamond lightweight track shaft. A MUCH better design than the 06 shaft. Better connection system, stronger and lighter. Great sled. You would not be disappointed.

Well it looks like I am getting it for 5k even--and since I am in AK it seems like a good price. Any recommendations on what mods if any I should do to it first? Thanks
