We are only one month away now from the Alliston Show. This event has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and is quite the Show and Swap Meet.

All sledding related Vendors and Clubs are welcome. Contact the Alliston Vintage Sled Show organizers via their web site below for details.

This show is tied to the Alliston Potato Festival, so lots for everyone to see and doo.

- The News -

There is now OFFICIALLY a THEME for the Alliston Vintage Sled Show and ACSCC Sleigh Daze:

"Setting A Canadian Record"

Since this is the Last Year for Alliston As a Summer Event, the idea is to go out with a bang - so we want to get as many sleds out as we can.

The sub-theme is Odd / Unusual / Ugly Sleds - hopefully we will have the largest gathering of these types of sleds as ever seen in Canada in one spot.

There you have it - so lets get those sleds out!

Alliston Vintage Snowmobile Show & Swap Meet will take place Friday August 8 & Saturday August 9, 2008

This is the largest summer vintage snowmobile show in Ontario, featuring sleds & vendors from all-over Ontario, Quebec, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Minnesota.

This show has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception and every year turns out to be full of surprises and treasures for all who attend.

If you have enjoyed this show in the past, please take the time to check out some of our show sponsors, exhibitors and vendors as they help make this show possible.

If you are looking for Vintage Snowmobile parts, complete machines, memorabilia or have any of the foremetioned to sell, then you need to check out our vending area. Lots of goodies for all your vintage snowmobile needs.

We also will have on hand representation from the current manufacturers of the new machines, gear and accessories (with some really great deals based on last year's offerings).

Snowmobile clubs are welcome to come out and set up booths to promote their club.

If you are interested in volunteering to help out with this event, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Yeah - we always seem to be in a world of our own and the Potato Festival organizers don't do a lot for us. But we do have a good time and there is always a good turn out of old sleds and such.

This is the last year for Alliston as a Summer Show. In 2009 it is going to a Winter Event.

Send me all the details on your August Long-Week-End event and I will post it on ACSCC.com in the Forum (or you can sign in and post it on your own - your choice).

August long week-end - may being going to a cottage that week-end - have not yet had confirmation.

Cheers,
Alex
