Knowing NH...they probably impounded the sleds till they were released from custody...then somehow the state will make them pay to get their sleds back! Would be real interesting to know the outcome of all this...???

I was surprised to see the MP leave the sled and the marker in the water after guarding it for a good 20 minutes. Needless to say, the sled was out of the water before the kid was done dealing with the MP. Over 80ft deep, and he knew what he was getting into... lets give this kid some credit for doing something we have all wanted to do before! (or at least thought about)

only one kid got busted by fish cops....the other one got away scott free with a bad ass story......i think its cool of the fish cops to let him go........i wish i was that lucky... .that vid def. got confiscated

Yes, isn't it real good to give law breakers credit. He only wasted our tax dollars and polluted our lake.

If he has to do jail time, he can only hope he has an ass as tight as yours. Loosen up a little. MP was obviously already out there patrolling and I'm sure the pollution that amounted from the sled being on the bottom of the lake is equal to the amount of fluids that leak from your car or truck in the time you own it. Every single one of us thinks about doing it, most of us don't . . . . . . but some us wait until winter when the water is near freezing to do it (go figure). Guilty as charged.

Silly watercrossers!

Last year or the year before, I forget which, a guy down in Massachusetts was arrested after having to be rescued for water skipping his sled. They interviewed him after he was pulled out of the water, and in blankets, and he said how much of a dumbass he felt like. Then, there were the "high and mighty" police officers saying their lil lines of bullshit. It was funny seeing him on the news though, all cold and wet and being interviewed for doing such a funny thing. Believe it or not, he was actually charged for it and prosecuted. So, this guy is lucky he got off the way he did. Guess NH isn't that bad after all! Don't move to Mass!

I was on the water crossers side and I want to see the video, and I'm last thing from a tree hugger or hippi, trust me.

Haha the kid John Miller or w/e from wolfeboro supposedly had a helmet cam and it was "confiscated". We have a video on a cell phone. Ill see if ican get it.

my sled was the second one to go down my buddy was riding it and and ran out of gas like 50 feet of shore go figure my gauge was wrong. o well good times. atleast they let us go with a skim ticket
