Really hate to take words from Freddie Mercury.............but seems appropriate.

Did it sell or close and who has it listed?
denny
Any details on this? Its really a shame if its true. Don was always helpful to his guests. I only stayed there a couple times as I have my own place now but Ireally find this had to believe? We looked into buying it before we built our own place seemed like a good deal if the price was a little lower. I just looked on the MLS realestate listing and see nothing?

This thread being the newbie's first post to me seemed suspicious so I emailed the Errol Motel yesterday and received this reply.

The motel is not closed. Probably sometimes the rumor mill expands and this
is the real story.

The motel has changed ownership. The change of ownership occured on Monday,
June 30, 2008. We are still an up and running viable business. We look
forward to serving you and all past and future customers.

Sincerley,

Ricky Blais

Dumbass should've done your homework before spreading rumors. Boneheads like you hurt business. Go away.

Glad to see Ricky that your expanding your horizons. If this is the right Ricky Blais, him and his wife also own, Paradise Point Cottages on Lake Umbagog. A truly great place to stay and tucked away just enough out of Erroll. My friends and I were some of their first customers. Looking forward to coming up this winter. Also note that anyone who likes to save a buck, the Erroll Motel was the place to be and will hopefully stay that way!!!!

I also know Rick and his wife Linda and they are great people. I keep my boat at his place on the lake and they are real nice people. I am sure the Errol Motel with be even better than before if they are the new owners. For anyone that stayed at either the errol motel or paradice point they should venture up to the Bull Moose for dinner which is another great place with new owners and could use some bussiness.
They are located just up from the lake towards Upton.
