question.png Well it's that time of year, trail matinance, and re-routes: But I have a question; why does the exspense fall just on Vast lap, when these trails are used year round, whether for Kingdom trails,(bike) , cross country, Atv's, etc... Not to mention that, some of this work is being done on private land and businesses, who also reap the rewards, as far as bringing folks into there buisness, either for gas or chow... Not only that, but my sled is the only registered vehicle, outside of ATV's, doesn't that give me right of way??? turned.png

You bring up some interesting points in regard to other users helping with some of the expense. I think some of these people should help but I'm not sure how to go about that. As far as the businesses go, MANY businesses DO contribute to the grooming funds and local clubs. Many of those businesses that don't contribute have been pointed out to us here on this site. I know there was a situation in Derby last season with a gas station that had a problem with how sleds approched the pumps. This business asked to have much of the access closed off and come to find out this business owner doesn't support the local club when about 1/4 mile away there is another station that does support the club. In reguard to you having the right of way when you are using your registered sled I think the answer is no you don't have the right of way because for the most part there are only sleds using these trails in the winter and the rules of the road apply to ALL of us registered users.
