Anyways I purchased this land so that I would be able to have a fishing / hunting / snowmobile camp in Redfield. I am selling because I have a new baby on the way and I will not have the time to build or maintain a cabin or the land. I purchased 50 acres on the trail system West Leyden and you are in the ballpark on the price so hang in there. You should find every Snowmobile forum and post on it. The guys are just having a little fun especially on this forum. GOOD LUCK

I wouldn't let it go for a penny less. I payed 1200 an acre 4 years ago for my 18 acre lot in Redfield. That was a great deal then comparing to what others are asking. You're giving someone a bargain at $1300 an acre. These are the prices Christmas and ASSociates are asking for the two remaining lots next to me.

5.89 Acres for $18,900 - 20% deposit, 15 year term,monthly payment of only $148.80/month!

11.68 Acres for $24,900 - 20% deposit, 15 year term, monthly payment of only $196.04/month!

They sub-divided 80 acres into 16 lots and these two parcels are all they have left. These parcels didn't go on the market until last summer. They sold 14 of them in less than a year. You should have absolutely no problem "giving away" your land. List it on every forum you can think of. Also try the sportsman and hunting forums. One of the lots next to me was sold to a group of hunters from Vermont. They said there is virtually little area left up there to hunt so they bought this place in NY. You will sell, just get it out there. Even though the economy is slowing, there's still a lot of money out there.
