I have been talking with Big Mike and he sent me a copy of this years schedule and asked that I pass it along, so here it is.

Sept 13-14 Moncton VT

Sept 20-21 Ohio NY snowbash (not a NEGDS race date but they didn't want to interfere with this date)

Sept 27-28 Casco ME

Oct 4-5 TBA

Oct. 11-12-13 Epping NH NHSA Championships

Oct. 25-26 Casco ME (this race was scheduled for Oct 18-19 but was changed)

Also Mike is meeting with someone this week about a possible race somewhere in MA. He will let me know when he knows. Also if anyone has tried to get on there website you know it has been down. Well it is back up again but has changed to wwwgrassdrags.net.

Also we are doing a display at Race Fever in Concord for grass racing. Is anyone interested in putting there race sleds on display for the evening? If so let me know.

Race fever is this coming Thurs.

What is this and where is it?

Race Fever is held usually the week before the Sprint Cup Series comes up. It is held to showcase many different forms of local and national racing. This year I was told that they will be closing down Main St. in Concord to hold the event. Go to www.racefevernh.com and check it out.

Race Fever will be held Thursday June 26 from 4-8pm on Main Street in Concord, NH. I am on the snowmobile committee and we are bringing our 3 ice oval sleds and 1 grass drag sled. If you want to bring your sled(s) down, get in touch with me on my cell phone, 603-496-2660, ask for Ken. I was told there is plenty of space....we'll see!!! Vintage race sleds and snowcross sleds are welcome, as I don't have any of these at this time.

I am a little confused now!? I got in touch with Tom Geno with race fever to get info for displaying grassdrag sleds. He never mentioned to me there is a commitee for this? I knew that Wayne Hall was planning to set up some sleds and I am also just trying to drum up some more interest in this. If I stepped on anyone's toes I applogize, just did not realize nor was I told there is a commitee for this. Ken I will call you later today, I will also get back in touch with Tom Geno again to clear up any confusion.

wish i would have got an here sooner i would have got the old ice sled out and cleaned it up. Hope you can get some sleds there and show them off

Hey Carl, no new news as of now. The schedule that I posted above still stands! I did talk to a guy who owns a facility that wants to hold a race there, I gave all the info to Mike and he has been in touch with him about it, but I haven't heard any specifics. Just so you know there website is back up and working it changed from grassdrags.com to www.grassdrags.net . Are you guys going to Ohio Snowbash?

Thanks for the info, I checked hte website. I would like to go to ohio, we'll see how the sled is running. Im gona put it on the asphault next friday I think to get some sort of testing in. we'll see how that goes.

Have you run your F-5 on the grass before? We ran one back in 03/04 I have a very good set up for one of those if you are interested! Let me know!

I've been telling Carl to go there for the past few seasons! I'm going but not bringing my sled since they will more than likely not have a 600 class. I'm driving someone elses sled this season. We'll see if my antique even comes out. NEGDS really needs to put on a test and tune day some where! Good chance to make some cash and a lot of racers happy. just my 2cents!

I will look for my note book tommarrow!! I talked some with D&D when we ran ours but they didn't have alot of info then cuz they didn't run any of those. Our best time with ours was a 6.1 we usually ran consistant mid 6.2. Are you running am. or pro?

i am going to run am but if i can get her down in the 6.3-6.1 range im gonna step up to pro

08 FST Dragon, I hoping for 11's. I just got brack from running my Victory Kingpin tonight, 13.004@99.4mph stock! I shouldn't have ate luch, I could have ran a 12.??, HAHA.

If I bring my sled and you bring yours they will have to have a 600 class because there will be atleast two of us. unless I break something, knock on wood, I will be going this year.

I'll have to agree that your F-5 was fast almost the fastest LOL. I hope the grass goes well this year I'm all done for now but will still be going to the races. see ya in the fall

Hey Chris, those were the days!! lol!! I remember getting lots of looks from people! We will be running again this year, we built a new PS 800 Cat. So we will be running 2 PS's this year. Why do we do this to ourselves?! lol!!

just checked-out the www.negds.net website - read the flyers for the vt. drags & rmr atv race - looks like that will be a good time. who is going from here?? sounds like they moved the race to a new facility this year.

Im going. It does say they moved it but i've never been there before so its all new to me! Hopefully there will be a good crowd between the sleds and atvs.
