i have it all most done theres just a couple things i was wondering about i noticed when the hood is on it there is a gap between t and the plastic piece that goes around the steering stem. and if i was to buy a gas tank and seat off a zr3 chassis would it slide right on to mine? i will try and get some pics of it on here soon

the snowmobile use to be a 99zr 600 all green. i got the new hood side panels brand new belly pan seat and gas tank for 230 bucks at a snowmobile salvage yard think i got a pretty good deal on the parts any ideas on what else to do to it? just wondering what u guys think

no i looked at them when i pulled the motor and they could be replaced is specific reason u asked. i will have some more pics on here i got my seat on and winshield and handguards on order

good job on the conversion. but...why didnt you just buy a black one?!

i dont have the money to buy a new one and i did it all for under 400 dollars. and i would rather do stuff my self than just buy one

what did that seat come off of? black with green and -orange? letters?
the reed boots (closest rubber part to the engine) are well known for cracking, then the engine goes lean and that's not good.

got it from a salvage yard they had it marked off a 03 zl 600 efi

yea they seem to be over looked alot. any one knbow if u can take off the arcticcat on the saet like it it would rub off or peel off think it woulld look better with out it

I've headr guys say that they used acetone or lighter fluid to do it. I would maybe try on your old seat first/ Lots of people do it though. maybe start a new thread asking about seat letter removal.

you can scratch it off but it will leave a white/grey imprint of the arctic cat letters on the seat.

use acetone, works good. here is my old sled, skis are 4-sale!!
