Hi all - I'm looking for a crew person to support my asphalt sled at New England Dragway. I'm running in the Sunoco ET Bracket Series - mostly on Sundays, but a couple of Saturdays also. I need a person who can dependably be there every week there is a race. I will pay your entry fee, feed you, and split any money I win with you 50/50 (it's not a lot of money).

There are 9 races left in the 2008 season. Tomorrow, next Sunday, the following Sunday, a week off, the following Saturday and Sunday, a week off, two Sundays in August and one or two in Sept (they may run some rain-day makeups in Sept). Hours: 9ish AM until I'm eliminated (2:30pm on a bad day 5 or 6pm on a good day). You will be resonsible for driving my golf cart to tow the sled from and to the pits, maybe some light mechanical work (usually none needed - no experience needed), shooting the bull with lots of cool people, getting a tan, and some occasional gopher work.

Anybody interested? Is a good way to see lots of good racing for free!

i cant be the guy you need because i cant say i'll be there 100% and dont want to screw you up, but if i can, i'll help out for sure

Thanks man - I appreciate it. I'm pretty sure you've got it backwards though - I OWE YOU one - you owe me nothing after that wreck. Are you all healed up? Or do you have any permanent injuries?

Sorry for not responding about the 'glide. I can't afford it at this point - I didn't have a clue what they went for, so I thought I'd ask. I've put too much $$$ into the sled and I'm gonna need a new track before too long. Somewhere along the line I have to start saving for winter...

haha, no worries.
im ok, i have a bunch of scars, but it looks cool in a bathingsuit. tellin the chicks i got bit by a shark. lol my hip and leg are always hurtin some times when im walking it just gives out and i go down. i look like a fool, but oh well.
it also gets me in trouble at bars if it happens. even if i have one beer and it happens they think im shit faced and want to shut me off. lol

anyway, no worries on the glide either, they aint cheep. nothing about racing is cheep. hell even the gas.

but im sure we will run into each other and again. let me know when your running i will try to make it up for ya.

Cant wait for winter!!!! im thinking about one of the new 4 stroke DOO's and a turbo kit, but we'll see. i might stick with mine for one more season, let them work the bugs out of the new one, then scoop one. but i cant wait either way
